Child safety standards

HUMANS (humansconnections.com) is an adults-only service for people 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These are strictly prohibited on HUMANS and are grounds for immediate removal and reporting.

CSAE includes any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor, including grooming, solicitation, sextortion, and the creation, possession, or distribution of CSAM (including AI-generated CSAM). None of this is permitted on HUMANS under any circumstance.

Inside the app, use the report control on any profile or message. Anyone, user or not, can report a child-safety concern by writing to childsafety@humansconnections.com or through our contact page. Reports of child safety are prioritized.

We review child-safety reports on a priority basis, preserve evidence for at least 90 days, remove offending content and accounts, and report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, as required by US law (18 U.S.C. 2258A). We cooperate with law enforcement.
