• Report and block anyone, at any time. A block is permanent and prevents re-matching.
• Moderation with human review; accounts that abuse the service are suspended.
• Rate limiting and automated abuse detection.
• No public profiles and no browsing. Only a person we propose you to sees your photos and first name; your last name and contact details are never shown, and chat opens only after a mutual yes.
• Chat is text only.

HUMANS does not conduct criminal background screenings on its members.

We do not verify members through criminal background checks. Identity verification, if we add it later, is not the same as a background check. Take the same care you would meeting anyone new.

• Be cautious with anyone who asks for money. Never send money or financial details to someone you have not met.
• Watch for fake profiles and stories that do not add up.
• Keep conversations in the app before sharing your phone number or personal details.
• Tell a friend or family member where you are going before meeting someone.
• Meet in a public place, and arrange your own transportation.
• Do not share identifying or financial information you would not want a stranger to have.
